Callander is located at the gateway into the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park (LLTNP).The site is currently used for agriculture, and provides an opportunity for the creation of a tourist destination at a regional scale.

​At the Call for Sites stage of the LDP, a Geddes Consulting prepared a development concept setting out the site’s development potential both as an expansion to Callander. Nathan prepared the site masterplanning elements of these proposals and undertook analysis of the opportunities and constraints on the site.

​Preliminary discussions took place with both the National Park Authority and Sterling Council clarified opportunities for future development.

​The representation promoted the entire land holding as a tourism destination together with an expansion of the town.
