Will Picken
Architect
Will is an Architect with a broad range of professional experience on UK-based and international projects across multiple sectors and throughout all RIBA Work Stages.
He has also been nominated for the prestigious RIBA President’s Silver Medal.
Will has worked on large-scale regeneration projects including the mixed-use masterplan for Hartlepool Marina, as well as smaller bespoke commissions such as the Member’s Pavilion at the Royal Highland Showground in Edinburgh, Scotland.
His international project work includes the design development of luxury residential pavilions, villas and apartments in Beirut, Dubai and Valetta, which forms part of the UNESCO Word Heritage Site in Malta. Will also generated house typologies in the North of Iceland and participated in a competition winning scheme that proposed a major re-development of Reykjavik’s commercial City centre.
Since joining FourWard, Will has actively led projects through the planning, building warrant and tender phases and been responsible for coordinating our BIM output with multi-disciplinary design teams.
His approach to architecture is a highly creative, collaborative and friendly process that relies on the exchange strong ideas and sustainable thinking.
